Boombli ("the App") is a sound-effects play companion for children aged 4–9, developed by Andrew Masters ("we", "us"). The App was built with privacy as a core design principle. This policy explains in plain language what that means.
None. The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information about you or your child. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, no email collection, no profiles, and no analytics tracking of any kind.
The App saves a small amount of information locally on your device so it can remember your preferences between launches. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. It includes:
Uninstalling the App removes all of this data from your device.
The App offers optional in-app purchases for additional sound packs through Google Play. All payment processing is handled entirely by Google. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information, your Google account, or any details about your purchase beyond what Google reports to the App (which sound pack was unlocked). Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles payment data.
The App contains no analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, no Crashlytics, no third-party analytics of any kind), no advertising SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking pixels. We have no way of knowing how often the App is opened, which sounds are played, or which features are used.
The App is designed to work fully offline. The only time the App communicates over the internet is when a parent taps to purchase a sound pack — that communication goes directly between Google Play and Google’s servers. No other network requests are made.
The App is designed for children aged 4–9 and complies with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code, and similar regulations worldwide. Because the App collects no personal information of any kind — from children or adults — verifiable parental consent is not required.
Purchases and any settings that affect spending are protected by a "grown-up check" gate (a two-finger hold for three seconds) so children cannot complete purchases on their own.
The App uses one third-party service:
No other third-party services are integrated.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we do, the effective date at the top of this page will change. Because the App collects no data today, any change that introduced data collection would also be made clear inside the App before it took effect.
